Angle
Equal-leg and unequal-leg angle. Sizes from 20×20 to 200×200 mm. Lengths 9, 11, 12 m. The most widely used section.
Angle is the most widely used section: 119 active SKU. Used wherever a light, rigid section is needed: trusses, rafter systems, frames, fences, masts, supports.
Classification & types
Equal-leg angle (GOST 8509-93)
Both legs of equal length. Sizes from 20×20×3 to 200×200×30. Fast-movers — 50×50×5, 75×75×6, 100×100×8.
Unequal-leg angle (GOST 8510-86)
Legs of different length. Used in trusses with asymmetric loads, monolithic steel structures. Sizes 25×16 — 250×160.

Selection guide
- Fences, opening trim — equal-leg 25×25 — 50×50
- Trusses and rafter systems for light buildings — equal-leg 50×50 — 75×75
- Load-bearing frames, supports, masts — equal-leg 75×75 — 125×125
- Industrial trestles, comms towers, power-line supports — 125×125 and larger
- Trusses with asymmetric load — unequal-leg by calculation
Shipping documents
Factory certificate with steel grade St3 / 09G2S, chemistry and mechanical properties. For batches destined for cold-resistant structures — KCV impact toughness at −40°C.
Storage, acceptance, transport
Stack on supports. 12 m long lengths — sling from both sides on unloading. When welding — degrease the seam zone.
FAQ
Q. Which angle for a 2 m profiled fence?
For a light fence with corrugated sheeting — equal-leg 40×40×3 or 50×50×4. For a fence with heavy cladding (metal palings, wrought) — 50×50×5 or 60×60×5.
Q. How does “A” angle differ from “B” on a drawing?
“A” — precise rolling with tolerances per GOST. “B” — regular, with relaxed tolerances and cheaper. For critical structures choose A, for fences and auxiliary tasks B is enough.
